Ingredients:

1 Head of Garlic
1 T olive oil
Salt
Pepper
Directions:
  1. Step 1 Cut the top 1/3 off the garlic head - the goal is to expose all of the cloves of garlic.

  2. Step 2 Place the head of garlic onto a square sheet of aluminum foil and draw the edges up towards the garlic head. You want to make a little bowl shape.

  3. Step 3 Drizzle with olive oil and a dash of kosher salt and fresh cracked pepper.

  4. Step 4 Bake in a 350 Degree oven for 30-45 minutes.

  5. Step 5 Allow to cool and squeeze the cloves into a mortal and pestle and pound until it forms a smooth paste.

  6. You can now add it to your wine sauces or mashed potatoes. It is really good spread on just plain toasted bread.
